How to install OSX on a Dell Mini10V

Installing OSX on a Dell Mini 10v is very straight forward, but you need to be aware of a few things which I'm going to document here. Atfer unpacking the netbook, i booted in the preinstalled Windows to see if I need could do any firmware updates as they normally come with thos nice Windows based installer. As the BIOS was up2date I turned of the system and started to setup my system. As I haven't bought my OSX CD yet I started setting up Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala Netbook Remix. Goto http://www.ubuntu.com and download the ISO image of Ubuntu. You can use unetbootin http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net to create a bootable USB stick out of it.
